This cube features rare old American wood type in a block serif font. This cube is all numbers of a rare hardwood style that cuts deeper into the 1" thickness than normal, creating a deeply engraved surface. The cube was assembled with plywood backing on each side and with beveled edges that allow the complex gluing of six pieces without edges or dead spaces in the finished sculpture.
