All materials in this piece are original. This is a wooden sausage box from the once huge stockyards and meat packers of Buffalo, NY. There were dozens of companies from all the ethnic groups that settled there - Polish, German, Jewish, etc. They all used the same style of wooden box to transport product. This box, with thin, faded reddish brown and crudely stencilled lettering, said "Easter Brand" and had stock numbers on the ends.  A lovely mirror with abstracted soft graphics and colors. It is historic, mellow, and modern looking all at once.
