All wood and paints of this piece are original. This is a wooden panel of tan underpaint with shades of green overlayed in a swirling mass. I added red strips at the base with a thin green strip between them. I was immediately taken with the powerful image of the classic dust cloud rolling across the Plains, as in the 1930s. This wonderful work is one of what I call an "accidental painting".
