All wood and paints of this piece are original.It consists of a door panel from a E & B Holmes factory, a manufacturer of barrel making machines, accented by very rare antique Hebrew wood type letters, and wooden type punctuation marks. This wonderful creation shows the age and technical beauty, and the instruments of language. Against the mundane panel, the Hebrew type forms little abstract (all type is backwards) but emotional sculptures. The punctuation panel is rich in the concentrated little messages of the comma, the period, and the exclamation point. A most entertaining and thoughtful piece for anyone with a literary bent.
